Communication Complications

Communication is key to a happy and healthy relationship and communication issues is one of the main sources of marital conflict. There are many topics which are difficult to bring up and even harder to resolve, and different styles of communicating can make it difficult for a relationship to flourish. When communication is mishandled, it can affect every area of a relationship.

Everyone wants to be heard and understood. However, with communication it’s often human nature that instead of listening to the other person we’re already formulating and waiting for an opportunity to share our own opinions.

Marriage Center Can Help

Our marriage center will work with couples to facilitate effective and improved communication. With our help, couples will learn to express their perspectives in a way that their spouse can “hear their heart.” Couples will explore communication and many other areas to strengthen their marriage including:
